Standing Together Against Sexual Violence: A celebration at the Memorial to Survivors of Sexual Violence

August 18 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

A celebration of collaboration, solidarity, and our power standing together against sexual violence. We celebrate the result of our collective impact: a Memorial to Survivors of Sexual Violence, located here in the Saint Anthony West neighborhood at Boom Island Park. We acknowledge that the work continues to prevent sexual violence, support survivors in their healing, and respond to harm with accountability. This work is enriched and sustained by the strength of MN’s state and tribal coalitions, so join us to meet the project’s design team and Nicole Matthews, Executive Director of the Minnesota Indian Women’s Sexual Assault Coalition (MIWSAC), and Artika Roller, Executive Director of the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MNCASA) as we work to support these organizations.
Short program at 5 p.m.
