FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

The Fundraising Committee plans, organizes, and hosts events big and small. It is our goal to raise funds for neighborhood initiatives and programs run by STAWNO that bring neighbors into contact, support civic volunteerism, and create opportunities for neighborhood betterment.

  • Committee meetings are always open so that everyone who attends participates. Committees do not meet regularly, so sign up for our newsletter to receive meeting announcements.

  • The Annual Historic Riverfront 5K Run/Walk is our biggest accomplishment to date. For over 15 years the STAWNO Fundraising Committee has organized and held this big community event. Runners and walkers come from all over to participate in the timed 5K. There are prizes and accomplishments won every year.

    For the first time since 2005, when it all began, we are teaming up with the Sheridan Neighborhood Organization to share and grow this much-loved, active Fundraising event. We can’t wait to see how big the Riverfront 5K can become with partners in Northeast Minneapolis!
